Kansas City is known as the "City of Fountains." And Crown Center is proud of its contibution to the city's reputation! We have many fountains, but the Crown Center Square Fountain is the biggest and best. A few facts about it:
- 49 water jets and 48 water shooters spout up to 60 feet in the air, before coming back to a 37,500-gallon underground reservoir. Water is recycled into the fountain at a rate of 2,200 gallons per minute.
- Check out our dancing water shows, synchronized to music recorded for Crown Center by members of the Kansas City Symphony.
- Regular show schedule: Weekday shows at noon and on the hour from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. Weekend shows on the hour from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m.
