Welcome to the first-ever Hallmark Christmas Experience – a free, open-to-the-public,immersive experience with all the charm of a Hallmark movie town square. Elevate your experience with special ticketed events and activities—the exclusive way to get access to Hallmark stars and artists. Tickets are limited.

There are many ways to enjoy the Hallmark Christmas Experience:

Christmas Market and Holiday Hallmarket 

Crown Center Square. FREE to attend. At the Christmas Market you can shop from a variety of more than 20 vendors. From home goods to clothing and jewelry to artisan gifts, you’ll find something for everyone!  And, at the Holiday Hallmarket tent you can shop an assortment of Hallmark product and find exclusive event merchandise.

Festive Food Hall

Crown Center Square. FREE to attend. Enjoy savory eats, sweet treats and your favorite holiday drinks as you experience the magic of the Square.

Tree Lightings + Light Show

Crown Center Square. FREE. Experience dazzling light shows that begin when a special guest flips the switch to light up the 100-foot-tall Mayor’s Christmas Tree. 

Fridays & Saturdays: 6:30pm, 7:30pm, 8:30pm, 9:30pm and Sundays: 5:30pm

Friday, December 6:

6:30pm. Neil Smith, Kansas City Chiefs Ambassador and former player

7:30pm.  Hallmark Stars Paul Campbell, Kimberley Sustad and Ginna Claire Mason, including a special  musical performance by Ginna Claire Mason.

8:30pm. Some lucky fan will be selected from the crowd to lead the countdown and flip the switch.

Saturday, December 7:

Enjoy local band Lost Wax performing live Christmas music from the stage.

6:30pm. Come join the countdown!

7:30pm. Hallmark Stars John Brotherton, B.J. Britt & Taylor Cole

8:30pm. Lead cast from Three Wise Men and Three Wiser Men:  Paul Campbell, Tyler Hines, Andrew Walker & Kimberley Sustad.

9:30pm. Come join the countdown!

Sunday, December 8:

5:30pm. Come join the countdown!

Home Sweet Hallmark Movie-Thon

Fridays & Saturdays. Hallmark Visitors Center.  FREE. Seating is available on a first-come, first-served basis. Film showings at 10am, 12pm, 2pm and 4pm.

Light Walk. Crown Center Square.

Fridays and Saturdays, 10am – 9pm.  Sundays, 10am – 9pm. Last admission is 15 minutes prior to closing. Wait times may vary.

Take a stroll through a display of lights with photo-worthy spots along the way.

Spread Joy

Crown Center Square. FREE. Send Some Love at the Card Sending Station – wishes to your loved one right from the Hallmark Christmas Experience.  Then Color the Season at the Crayola Community Mural where you can add a personal touch to the coloring wall.

Festive Photo Ops

Crown Center Square. FREE. Capture the moment with you at unique photo ops throughout the Square.

Your Favorite Hallmark Stars, Artists & Writers

The Westin Kansas City at Crown Center.  Ticketed sessions based on availability.  Select from a variety of ticketed events that will feature Hallmark Stars and the creative Artists & Writers of Hallmark.

Choose from sessions like Reindeer Games, A Look Behind the Lens, Destination Movies and Three Wise Men where your favorite stars will take the stage.  Hallmark Artists & Writers will lead sessions that range from Hand-lettered Holiday Envelopes and Papercraft Hoop Wreath making to Kids Writing Workshop and Journaling the Season.

Touchdown:  A Chiefs Love Story Red-Carpet Event

The most anticipated holiday movies of the year, Holiday Touchdown: A Chiefs Love Story, was filmed right here in Kansas City, including scenes on Crown Center Square. This holiday movie premieres on Hallmark Channel November 30 at 7pm CT.  As part of the first-ever Hallmark Christmas Experience, Hallmark Media will be hosting a special public red-carpet event on Saturday, November 30^th at 4:30pm on Grand Blvd. 

In addition to the film’s cast, there will be special guests from the Kansas City Chiefs, including KC Wolf and the Chiefs Cheerleaders, and other Hallmark stars making their way down the red carpet.
