Our summer calendar of outdoor events and festivals kicks off June 3^rd with the 50^th running of Hospital Hill Run.  Choose from a 5K, 10K or the award-winning half-marathon and challenge the hills.  Then our outdoor festivals take over with Boulevardia, Kansas City’s pop-up party nation.  Innovation Festival returns in early August when Beats, Beers and Biologics take center stage.  Kansas City Irish Fest fills Crown Center Labor Day weekend and KC Oktoberfest brings a Bavarian-style festival in October.

Fridays in July you can catch a band and a movie on the lawn – and admission is Free!  Visit one of our food trucks and relax under the stars.

Fairy Tale Village takes over the Crown Center Showplace where children aged 2 and up will discover a world of make-believe as classic children’s tales come to life.  This free interactive exhibit opens Memorial Day weekend and runs through Labor Day.
